Channel Partner Manager

In this role you have the first line responsibility to provide business support to Channel Partners in assigned territories. Support will be both strategic and technical to develop sales and achieve targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
What are your responsibilities?
•Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, develop and strengthen long-term business relationships with customers/ Channel Partners in the assigned territories;
•Achieving win-win situations where a gap exists between customer demands and our current portfolio by co-creation with the Channel Partners;
•In cooperation with the Channel Partner(s), take care of prospects throughout the sales process:
o Definition of analytical problems and solutions
o Organization of demonstrations, application work and local activities
o Prepare quotations and lead sales negotiations where required
•Provide accurate business forecasting and reporting;
•Hold Channel Partners accountable for annual sales targets and marketing activities.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
•BSc/MSc/PhD degree in chemistry, geology, mineralogy, materials science or physics
•A second language is preferred.
•You have proven experience in a similar role in an international environment;
•You are a commercially savvy individual with a high sense of urgency who is willing to go the extra mile;
•You have excellent follow-up skills, organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
•You are confident enough to make independent choices and are self-reliant;
•You have good communication and negotiation skills;
•You are detail oriented, particularly with databases/customer relationship management systems (i.e. Salesforce);
•Fluent in English, written and spoken combined with excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
