In this role you will support the new product developments in Malvern Panalytical Elemental products, which are used for materials analysis in scientific and industrial product and process control. You will contribute in formulating and validating the requirements of high-quality analytical software. You will work closely together with the commercial product owner and the development teams in a multi-disciplinary environment, to validate the correct functioning of user software .

What are your responsibilities?

  • Formulation of validation criteria of the software requirements for analytical software,

  • Implementing the validation criteria with SpecFlow scripts that integrate modules on Epic/Feature level,

  • Implement binding steps that are required for the SpecFlow scripts in c#.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Experience in usage of analytical instrumentation,

  • Interest in and a drive to understand the application domain of Malvern Panalytical regarding X-ray analysis,

  • To be open, communicative, and have passion for Software requirements,

  • You are familiar with SpecFlow and c#,

  • You are familiar with user software,

  • You are fluent in English and (prepared to learn to) understand Dutch.

Great to have?

  • Affinity with laboratory equipment and/or strong affinity with analytical techniques and their application area.

  • Computer science (MSc), affinity with one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics

  • More than 5 years’ experience in validating software requirements with emphasis on user software

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English

  • You have worked with Agile development processes
