For our customers, Customer Support is an important face of the company. The Customer Support job family is comprised of all employees that participate in the research, engineering, and development of customer service solutions.
Malvern Panalytical equipment plays a key role in advanced industry and research applications, which makes maximum uptime and a short downtime essential. Malvern Panalytical therefore places high priority on customer support, with a network of service centers covering more countries than that of any other manufacturer. Working at customer support is very diverse. You get to travel to customers all over the world, and get the opportunity to test products in the field, and you are often in direct touch with our customers.
We have three main job families within the department:
Application engineers, who handle the performance optimization and integration;
Field service engineers who handle the maintenance of our systems at the customer site;
Customer support specialists who answers complex questions from their colleagues in the field, and develop, execute and continuously improve training courses for Field Service Engineers and Customers.
